Dree Hemingway is an American actress, fashion model, and muse.

The eldest daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway and businessman Stephen Crisman, Dree spent her childhood in the open air and wide landscapes of Sun Valley, Idaho.

After graduating from high school, she studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, developing her interests in the creative arts.

Dree made her fashion debut in 2009 walking for the Givenchy. Renowned photographers included Peter Lindbergh, Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Craig McDean, Juergen Teller, along with Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott have all photographed Dree for compelling editorial and global fashion campaigns. Her editorial works span the pages of Vogue’s American, French, Italian, British, Chinese and Japanese editions, as well as W magazine, LOVE, AnOther, Porter, and Vanity Fair.

Dree’s demure yet captivating personality, coupled with her sartorial elegance, has landed her coveted ambassador deals season after season. From fragrance campaigns for Salvatore Ferragamo, Paco Rabanne and Chloe, to fashion campaigns for Miu Miu, David Yurman, Gucci, Valentino, H&M, Tiffany & Co, Mercedes Benz, and Tory Burch, Dree is a rare talent intriguing both niche and mass audiences.

Dree Hemingway’s acting career started in 2012 with her debut role in the independent film “Starlet,” directed by

Sean Baker. After her successful debut, Dree continued to pursue acting and appeared in several other films.

Dree portrayed Daryl Hannah in the acclaimed series “Love Story”, released in early 2026.
