After a decade in the fashion industry, model and Leukaemia UK ambassador Saffron Vadher is stepping into a new chapter: acting. “I’ve always loved singing, dancing, and acting,” she says. “Now feels like the right time to return to what first sparked my love for performing.”
She recently wrapped her first feature film, The Queen of Fashion, starring opposite Andrea Riseborough. Directed by Alex Marx, the biopic tells the story of iconic fashion editor Isabella Blow — a fitting debut for someone so deeply rooted in style.
Raised in London with both Indian and English heritage, Saffron draws inspiration from the contrasting glamour of her two grandmothers — one in vibrant saris and gold jewellery, the other in heels and red lipstick. Their elegance and confidence shaped her own distinctive aesthetic.
Off-screen, Saffron is committed to making a difference. As an ambassador for Leukaemia UK, she uses her platform to raise awareness and support for those affected by the disease.
With The Queen of Fashion marking her transition from model to actress, Saffron is embracing new ways to create, connect, and tell powerful stories.
