Greta
Greta Bellamacina is a British poet, actress and filmmaker.
Her debut film Hurt By Paradise was nominated for the Michael Powell Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and Best UK Film at Raindance.
As an actress Greta has appeared in This England (Sky), Riccardo Vannuccini’s Commedia and Things and Other Things, and will soon star in All Five Eyes alongside Honor Swinton Byrne.
Greta has recently wrapped on Bunker directed by Oscar winning director Florian Zeller, where she plays Jennifer, an art journalist, alongside Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.
She plays the lead in 'Weaving Anni Albers' directed by the award winning producer of Triangle of Sadness, Alessandro Del Vigna, which is currently at film festivals, and in the Italian film Things And Other Things directed by Riccardo Vannuccini. Her next film role is in the Chekov-inspired Golden Valley directed by Jack Eve, filming in the Welsh countryside in March 2026.
Shortlisted for Young Poet Laureate of London in 2014, she co-founded New River Press in 2015 with her husband, the artist Robert Montgomery.
Her latest collection of poetry 'Who Will Make The Fire' is published by Cheerio Books and her debut novel INCARNADINE is nearing completion. Alongside acting and writing Greta is completing her postgraduate masters in literature at Cambridge University.
